Warner Music re-releases the songs-for-lifers 10 classic albums - on vinyl

 

Warner Music (Thailand) has announced that it will be taking 10 classic albums by Thailand’s leading songs-for-life band Carabao and re-releasing them in vintage vinyl format as the, “Carabao Vinyl Collection” after the band’s “30 Years” anniversary concert.
The collection consists of albums released between 1981 and 1990: “Khee Mao”, “Pae Khai Khuad”, “Waniphok”, “Thor Thaharn Od Thon”, “Made In Thailand”, “Americoy”, “Prachathipatai”, “Welcome to Thailand”, “Thub Lang” and “Haam Jod Khwai” and includes “Folk ‘Bao” as a bonus. 1984’s Made In Thailand” was the band’s most successful, selling more than 5 million copies and drawing more than 60,000 fans to the concert that promoting it. Today an original of the best-selling album can go for as much as Bt10,000.
“The name of Carabao is first and foremost in our minds and the most suitable for a classic collection on vinyl,” said Vinij Lertratanachai, during a recent press conference at Boomerang music store in CentralWorld. “It’s a good opportunity for the new generation to feel warm about the sound of vinyl.”
All the albums are being re-mastered at Pauler Acoustics studio and produced at Pallas, one of the leading manufacturers of vinyl records in Germany.
