An easy way to prevent massacres
I have devised a solution to the gun-control problem in the United States.
The difficulty comes from the second amendment to the US Constitution, which affirms the right of the American people to own and bear arms. It doesn’t say anything about bullets.
The solution? Don’t ban guns, ban bullets. Guns don’t kill people. Even people don’t kill people. Bullets kill people. By banning bullets, the US will ensure the safety of its citizens and still enable macho crazies to run around waving their assault weapons and pretending to be Rambo.
I don’t expect to receive a Nobel Peace Prize for this suggestion, but I wouldn’t refuse it, either.
