Emergency service
Bangkok Dusit Medical Service, the country’s largest hospital chain, has budgeted Bt60 million to launch Bangkok Emergency Services for the capital’s metropolitan area.
The chain expects 15-per-cent growth next year after the launch.
In the first phase, BES will serve emergency patients of Bangkok Hospitals, Samitivej Hospitals, BNH Hospital, Phyathai Hospitals and Paolo Memorial Hospitals in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan provinces.
Chief executive officer Chatree Duangnet said this would help the company meet its ambitious goal of extending emergency services to Asean countries and the southern provinces of China once Asean Economic Community comes into force in 2015.
