Fire Dragons unveil new squad for new season

BEC-Tero Sasana have announced their squad for 2013 ahead of the new season, which starts in March. The Fire Dragons are expecting to roar this year, with new signings, new kit and a new motto - "Dream Bigger".

 

In charge of delivering the dream of a Thailand Premier League title is new coach Stephane Demol, 46, who brings his experience as a player and then assistant coach with the Belgium national team.
Star Rangsan “Aon” Vivatchaichok is set to captain the Dragons for another season, with experienced centre-back Apichet Puttan strengthening the defence. Also expected to shine this season are last season’s Best Young Player Chanathip Songkrasin, star youth-team goalkeeper Somporn Yos and defender Isaac Honny. 
The team have added strength all over the field with top new signings – in attack the team has new stars Sarayuth Chaikumdee, Jonathan Behe and Brazilian striker, Gabriel Davis Dos Santos. In midfield Sarif Sainui, Sho Shimoji and Yai Ninwong add excitement and flair, while Apiwat Ngualamhin, Apichet Puttan and Jessada Phulek should help strengthen the defence.
Robert Procureur, team general manager said:” We have strengthened many positions in our team. And we are more prepared than ever. We have had a tough pre-season. And this year we will challenge for the league title”. 
BEC-Tero Sasana will kick- off the season at their home ground, the 72-year Anniversary Stadium (Min Buri), against Chonburi FC on Saturday, March 2.
