Will May jump off Tak's cliff?
Actress-turned-TV producer May Fuengarom is delighted that Bongkot "Tak" Kongmalai is pregnant, but of course it means that she's lost the star of her forthcoming show "Nang Marn"
In fact, May says the situation is worse than finding out that her long-time boyfriend has another woman on the side. It’s an interesting metaphor considering that her boyfriend is Kanchai “Num” Kamnerdploy, who used to be a magnet for “gigs”, as “girls on the side” are known.
With the show set to premiere in April, May was losing sleep. She’s furiously re-shooting. “Tak had done almost 100 scenes in a month! We tried to persuade her to hang in there, but she was afraid the effort would affect the baby, which I understand – one of the scenes we still had to shoot involved her character jumping off a cliff. It would have been too much for her.”
The stress eased considerably once Tak’s replacement was found: Kullanat “Namfon” Preeyawat. “With Namfon’s quality, I know she can do it well,” May says. Meanwhile she’s not denying that Tak’s wealthy fianc
