	He said that more than 100 oil and gas investors, including US-based Chevron and Conono Phillips, have been carrying out talks with Myanmar authorities.</div>

	A new foreign investment law, tax exemptions and relief, cheap labour and rich natural resources are attracting foreign investors to Myanmar in the wake of international sanctions against the country being eased.</div>

Energy sector 'to be transparent'

Minister for Energy Than Htay says his ministry will push for greater transparency in Myanmar's energy sector in a bid to instil confidence among foreign and local investors.
