OTOP sale to reach Bt100bn in 2015
Thailand sets sight to boost OTOP product sales to Bt100 billion in 2015, said Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
Presiding over the workshop between government agencies and specialised financial institutions over access to funding to OTOP producers, the prime minister said that SMEs and OTOP producers are an integral part of the economy.
She said that the focus will be placed on OTOP producers with moderate strength. They are positioned to strengthen smallest producers, who consume a large volume of raw materials. Without efficiency, the smallest players could not quote reasonable prices for their products.
