Understand the nature of the beast
I sympathise with Richard Bowler's advice for the red mob at Bang Na to consult an English dictionary regarding the meaning of "justice", "fair play", and "democracy", but I would like to add a fourth word - "fascism".
Let’s see how this fits: “A radical authoritarian nationalist political ideology. Fascism promotes political violence as a form of direct action in order to create national spirit and vitality. Fascists commonly utilise paramilitary organisations for violence against opponents or to overthrow a competing political system or party. A fascist party’s leader exercises dictatorship over its members. Fascists do not recognise or respect the right of expression of opinions contrary to their views.” Once we understand the true nature of the red-shirt movement, there should be no shock or surprise at their actions.
