Ericsson to acquire systems integrator TeleOSS Consulting
Ericsson is acquiring TeleOSS Consulting under a business-transfer agreement.
TeleOSS Consulting is a specialist in consulting and systems integration for operating support systems (OSS), based in Bangkok. “This strategic investment is in line with our long-term ambition and commitment to strengthen our capabilities in the IT transformation area.”

SET seeks more diverse investors
The Stock Exchange of Thailand has set its sights on drawing more investment from China, Japan, the Middle East and Scandinavia in an effort to reduce capital-flow volatility. Japan is the biggest foreign investor in Thailand in terms of foreign direct investment, but in the stock market it is ranked 10th, said SET executive Pakorn Peetathawatchai. The UK is now the biggest foreign investor in the stock market, followed by the US, the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
A diverse range of foreign funds would help reduce volatility, as foreign investors from different countries have different points of view, Pakorn said.
After roadshows to China, Japan and Scandinavia in the first half, the exchange plans roadshows in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar in September.
