Right to stand up to US bullying
Whether it is propaganda or not, we have to praise Russian President Vladimir Putin for his firm stance in granting temporary political asylum to Edward Snowden.
Snowden has definitely made the right choice to stay in Russia, which is one of the countries outside the Western bloc where the US cannot send its Navy Seals to capture Snowden the same way they did Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
It is also time the US explained the horrifying scale of its surveillance network that intrudes upon the privacy of millions of Internet and phone users around the world.
