Deliciously Qantas with Q-Eat

Deliciously Qantas with Q-Eat

Qantas introduces its Q-Eat service on the Bangkok-Sydney route, allowing Business customers to pre-order a meal designed by Qantas consulting chef Neil Perry.

The new service gives customers more choice, with an additional dish available as an online exclusive on selected routes. The roll out of Select on Q-Eat complements the new mattress and duvet service in International Business. Customers can pre-advise cabin crew should they wish to have their bed made-up directly after takeoff so they can maximise their sleep on board. A range of refreshment options will continue to be available at any time throughout the flight. The airline operates seven flights weekly from Bangkok to Sydney on an Airbus A330.

Shutterbugs to the fore
Photographers – amateur and professional – take note. Phototech magazine together with Travel Line and the Federation of Photographic Association of Thailand are holding a photo competition on the topic “Religion and Art Conservation of Northeastern Region of Thailand”. The winners will be rewarded with Bt120,000 in cash. For more detail, visit www.Phototech-Mag.com or email [email protected].

Challenged in Krabi
The challenging Sheraton Krabi Trophy returns to the Andaman coastline this weekend with plenty of adventure races and beach parties. Supported by Sheraton, MBK Group, PTT, Singha and The Tourism Authority of Thailand, the second edition of this exciting race is set for Saturday. The race offers four disciplines: running, cycling, kayaking and swimming, and expects to draw 100 teams from around the world.

Fresh from the farm
Riva Surya Farmers' Market returns to Phra Athit Road and the banks of Chao Phraya on Saturday following the first successful showcase of local produce by local vendors last year. The farmer’s daughters and milkmaids probably won't be there – but the “marketplace” promises weekenders fresh vegetables, fruits and other produce from the local farms. The 2nd Riva Surya Farmers’ Market will be open from 11am to 6pm and the resort is easy walking distance from Phra Arthit Pier.
