Hospital group banking on ClinicalKey info tool

Bangkok Hospital and Bangkok Health Research Centre, both part of Bangkok Hospital Group, have selected Elsevier's ClinicalKey as their preferred online medical information resource to support clinical decision-making and medical research.

After implementation of ClinicalKey at the two facilities, Bangkok Hospital Group – a leading hospital-network operator throughout Southeast Asia, and owned and operated by Bangkok Dusit Medical Services – expects to further roll out usage at other hospitals and medical facilities throughout Thailand.
“In medical care and clinical research, quick access to the most current scientific information is critical for healthcare providers and researchers to deliver accurate and timely diagnosis and innovation,” said Dr Chatree Duangnet, vice president and chief operating officer – Medical Affairs, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services.
“We are impressed with ClinicalKey’s breadth and depth of medical content – from journals and medical textbooks to practice guidelines for our clinicians – all from a single online platform. We’re confident ClinicalKey can help us work more smartly and more efficiently and help us improve outcomes for our patients,” he said.
ClinicalKey is billed as the world’s first clinical-insight engine that combines comprehensive, trusted content with the speed of revolutionary search technology to deliver fast, clinically relevant answers.
Launched last year by the Netherlands-based Elsevier, ClinicalKey draws answers from the largest proprietary collection of clinical resources, covering every medical and surgical specialty.
By combining this innovative technology with internationally accredited healthcare services, Bangkok Hospital Group is committed to becoming the leading healthcare provider in Southeast Asia, meeting the needs of Thai and international patients through superb care quality.
Hundreds of healthcare institutions in more than 45 countries around the world are now using ClinicalKey.
