Dual prime ministers cause confusion

Dual prime ministers cause confusion

Re: "Why is Yingluck not going to Washington?", Opinion, September 23.

I agree with Kavi Chongkittavorn that having two prime ministers concurrently – in Thaksin Shinawatra and his sister Yingluck – has hindered Thailand’s once very good relations with the United States.
In fact, the whole world is confused as to who has the final say in the Thai government today. Hence, if there is a destabilising force against the Yingluck government at the moment, it is Thaksin only.
Thaksin should stop being an uninvited power behind the government and a hindrance to the country’s stability and progress.
