ihub Media made Adwords certified partner in Thailand

ihub Media, a leading Asian 360 social-media agency, has become a Google Adwords certified partner in Thailand, as the company's third market following Singapore and Malaysia.

By granting this certification, Google recognises the expertise of ihub Media and the company’s proficiency in the latest AdWords tools and techniques, as well as its capacity to perform cutting-edge practices in search and media-campaign management. 
To date, the company has managed more than 100 pages on Facebook and Twitter, created more than 100 million daily impressions on digital media platforms, and launched over 1,000 apps, including responsive Web design – namely, using HTML5 and CSS media to decide the rendering on different devices, including mobile. 
ihub Media has also tracked more than 7,000 Facebook pages through its in-house social analytics.
 
Capacity Asia 2013 takes place here this month
Capacity Media, a part of Euromoney Institutional Investor, is to hold “Capacity Asia 2013” in Bangkok from October 29 to 31.
The forum provides a meeting point for senior executives from wholesale telecoms carriers and service providers to discuss new business opportunities and strategies for the future development of communications technology across the region. 
Day one will focus on content delivery and OTT (over-the top) services, with a discussion on the associated challenges and opportunities for carriers. 
Day two will examine wholesale innovation, with thought-leaders from the global telecoms industry discussing how carrier business is changing and how it needs to develop in the future to remain competitive and profitable. 
Day three will provide an insight into the Chinese telecoms market and new growth opportunities from Indochina, with representatives from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar participating.
 
ITU Telecom World 2013 set for Impact in November
The Information and Communication Technology Ministry is joining hands with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau to host “ITU Telecom World 2013”. 
The event – a world-class exhibition of information and communication technology innovations – will welcome 20,000 worldwide delegates. 
Thailand, which has been given the opportunity to host ITU Telecom World for the first time, is staging the event at Impact Exhibition and Convention Centre from November 19 to 22. 
The theme for this year’s event is “Embracing Change in a Digital World”, focusing on the impact of major changes in the ICT sector in the areas of communication and business models, industry value chains, new technologies, and new regulatory and standardisation approaches.
 
Asean-EU Science, Technology and Innovation Days 2014
“Asean-EU Science, Technology & Innovation Days 2014” – a bi-regional initiative by 10-member Asean and the European Union – will kick off in Bangkok next year. 
The main aim of the STI Days is to offer a flexible and dynamic platform to unite a variety of STI-related events, activities, projects and stakeholders from Southeast Asian and EU countries. 
STI Days will be held in Bangkok from January 21-23, which will be the first in an annual series of events. 
The main focus of the STI Days in 2014 will be grand societal challenges relevant to both regions – namely, health, food security and safety, as well as water management.
