New Visa scheme to support shopping without border

Borderfree, the market leader in global e-commerce solutions, today announced it is collaborating with Visa to offer exclusive free shipping from Borderfree's powerhouse roster of US retail clients to Visa cardholders in Thailand.

 
Borderfree designed a promotion for Visa cardholders in Thailand. During the offer period, Visa cardholders in these markets have the opportunity to shop with a slate of popular US retailers and receive free shipping for orders that reach a certain threshold when they use their Visa card. Participating retailers include Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, True Religion, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Garnet Hill, OnlineShoes.com, CHEFS Catalog andJos. A. Bank. 
Somboon Krobteeranon, Visa country manager for Myanmar and Thailand, sees enormous potential for the online shopping landscape as e-Commerce spending on Visa cards continue to experience strong growth over the past year. Visa cardholders are making online purchases from their favourite fashion retailers to travel bookings as well as everyday purchases like groceries, movie tickets, personal electronics and books.
