Mum ready to get sweaty with Pinky - if the wife says okay

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2013

MULTIHYPHENATE COMEDIAN, actor and director Petthai "Mum" Wongkamlao is on the big screen right now, playing second banana to action star Tony Jaa in "Tom-Yum-Goong 2". It's a role he could play in his sleep. He's given himself a bigger challenge for his

The film is called “Tas Rak Asun”, which translates as “demon’s love slave”, and will co-star sexy Savika “Pinky” Chaiyadej. Shooting is set to start by the end of this month – but we’re waiting for Mum’s wife to give him permission.
Yes, there’ll be a love scene with him and Pinky.
“It wasn’t me who picked her – my production team and my daughter picked her!” he insists in what is surely verifiable testimony.
Actually it doesn’t sound like his wife has a problem about Mum rubbing up against a curvy young female body in public. He’s known to be a submissive husband, after all. Still, Mum “jokes” that he might get his wife to be the stand-in for the kissing scenes, “so I can kiss her for real”.
He adds, in words meant to reassure his wife further, that the love scene won’t be anything as steamy as in, say, “Jan Dara”. In fact he’s only really worried about his own performance. “I’ve always been nervous going into a love scene since doing one with Noon Woranuch [Bhirombakdi. in ‘Midnight My Love’]. It made me sweat like hell! Obviously, this kind of scene isn’t my cup of tea.”

Kai makes his move

DJ-TV host Samapol “Kai” Piyapongsiri has left GMM Grammy after more than two decades. There’s been no big announcement, just the very modern news transmission on the social networks.
Kai hinted at the departure as @kaisamapol on Instagram, posting a photo of him with co-host Sriphan “Ohn” Chuenchomboon with the caption “Finally, we met again.” Under another shot from a TV show he typed, “It was a marathon job. We had a long day. But I have a chance to do something new with a new team. The only ‘old’ thing is my co-host.
“Life is uncertain and no one knows what will happen, but life must go on. I thank all who used to give and (take way) my chances. Please stay tuned for my next show. I guarantee it will be fun.”
Reporters sniffed out more, discovering that Kai was likely to join GMM Grammy’s rival RS, hosting on the StarMax Channel, though it remains unclear whether he’ll join the staff or just freelance. He’s also recently appeared on TV shows beyond the Grammy fold like “Kan Pak” (“Itchy Mouth”) on Channel 7.
What’s certain is that he has indeed left GMM Grammy and is “repositioning himself” as an independent talent. His brief bio on Instagram now says, “I’m an independent radio-TV host from Thailand. Welcome to my world. Travelling is my life. (I work to earn money to travel and I’m so happy).”
Kai is unavailable to comment because that’s exactly what he’s doing at the moment – travelling in Russia. But on Facebook he’s revealed that is new show on StarMax will be called “Game Dara Chalala” and it debuts on November 4.
