Typhoon Haiyan used as scare tactic

Authors of recent articles in The Nation blame global warming for causing the most powerful typhoon ever to hit land. Haiyan recorded a maximum gust of 275kmh, according to the Philippine Met Office. However, when Typhoon Rose hit Hong Kong in mid-August

As to global warming causing this typhoon and bringing the threat of many, bigger ones, we note that, during this “hurricane season” in the US, there has not been a single one.
We further note that Arctic ice has grown 60 per cent within the last 12 months. Antarctic ice is at it’s thickest ever recorded. Worldwide temperatures have not increased in 15 years. Hawaii is getting much colder, and right now much of US, northern Europe and northern China are in deep-freeze.
So where is the warming? It’s disappeared into the oceans, claim the pro-climate change scientists, but you won’t be able to measure it there!
It’s time to stop this scam.
