AirAsia introduces the "City Transfer Service", a new initiative that provides transfers from airport of arrival to the prime destination and gets underway withPhitsanulok and Chiang Mai airports.

AirAsia passengers can book airport transfers from Phitsanulok airport to Sukhothai province and from Chiang Mai airport to the popular winter destination of Paiin Mae Hong Son province. The fee starts at Bt940 for Sukhothai and Bt1,265 for Pai. Transfer services can be booked for travel from Friday. The airline will also offer airport transfers from Krabi airport to Lanta Island for passengers flying from Chiang Mai. Visit www.AirAsia.com.
 
Running for a cause
The Chiang Mai Marathon 2013 returns this Sunday with a route that will take participants through the city’s best known historical landmarks and scenic points including the Old Town and Royalflora Expo. Smile for Luang Prabang
Thai Smile launches four weekly flights from/to Bangkok and Luang Prabang, the former capital of Laos and a Unesco World Heritage site. Flights are on the Airbus A320-200, and available on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The aircraft departs Suvarnabhumi Airport at 9.25am and arrives at Luang Prabang at 11am. The return flight leaves at 11.50am and lands in Bangkok at 1.35pm. Booking is now available at www.ThaiSmileAir.com and the Economy Class return costs about Bt12,500.
