Chevrolet adds three more dealerships

Chevrolet Sales Thailand has signed on three new dealers, bringing the total number of Chevrolet dealerships in Thailand to 104.

Two of the new dealerships are located in Bangkok, while the third is in the southern province of Narathiwat.
“We are confident about doing business in the southern province of Narathiwas. We count on the expertise of our local dealer who has over 15 years of experience in the automobile business there and in the region” said Naramon Pancharoen, Senior Manager for Franchise Development, Chevrolet Sales Thailand.
“It is business as usual here since last month that we opened the dealership here in Narathiwas and we are confident in Chevrolet products,” said Tuanskree Kubaha, the Retail Operator at Yala Autosales, the Chevrolet Dealership in Narathiwas.
Bangkok-based KAS Motors started its operations in November, followed by Neo Autocity and Yala Autosales, which began operating in Narathiwat in early December.
“These three new dealers are a strong indication of the confidence these discerning business people have in our brand and products,” Gustavo Colossi, vice president of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Chevrolet Sales Thailand and GM Southeast Asia Operations, said.
Yala Autosales’ Chevrolet dealership in Narathiwat is situated on a 2.5-rai plot. It has a 200-square-metre showroom, six service bays and four hoists. KAS Motors’ new 200-square-metre showroom is situated on a 1.5-rai piece of land along Charansanitwong Road in Bangkok, and will have 14 service bays and 10 hoists. Chevrolet’s newest dealership, its 104th, is Neo Autocity situated on Somdetphrachaotaksin Road, and sits on 1.5-rai plot with a 180-square-metre showroom. The dealership will have 12 service bays and eight hoists.
“All three have more than 10 years of experience in the automotive retail and service industry,” Colossi said. “This latest development is part of Chevrolet’s efforts to expand the availability of it vehicles in Thailand.”
