A new generation of stars is born

A new generation of stars is born

For Thai celebrities in the past, getting married and having children generally meant the end of their entertainment career

That’s no longer the case. Celebrities with children are not only able to continue their work but also receive higher fees when they bring their kids along. And fans simply adore the “products” of our stars.
According to Gossip Star magazine, the top-earning celebrity offspring is two-year-old Punnada “Nada” Punnakan, daughter of actor-turned-politician Danuporn and actress Suvanan.
Stardom comes easy to Nada, who is very friendly and not afraid of strangers. She even has her own fanclub. When she “works” at any event with her mum, the fee is estimated at around Bt120,000 to Bt150,000.
Another star two-year-old is Lyla Buttery, daughter of model-actress Paula. If Lyla goes to work with her mother, the fees start at Bt70,000 and up. She also does TV commercials, and for those, she’s the one and only star. The fee is higher, of course, and you’ll have to negotiate with her manager – her mother.
Other popular star children include Kun, son of Thiradej and Busakorn Wongpuapan, actor Amarin Nitipon’s daughter Ellie and singer Nicole Theriault’s son Tigger. They each pull in Bt30,000 to Bt60,000 for each appearance with their dad or mum.
There are much more and some of them rarely appear in the social function but become celebrities in social media. Fans are so willing to embrace the “products” of their beloved stars. This is quite good news as celebrities do not fear for their career securities. They are endeared even ore with their cute kids.

Fergie goes Hollywood
There is life after football and at age 71, Manchester United’s recently retired manager Sir Alex Ferguson is out to prove it.
The ex-Red Devils honcho will take his wife Cathy to Los Angeles to walk on the red carpet at the Academy Awards on March 2.
According to The Sun, Ferguson revealed his travel plans as a Christmas present to his wife. He’s making up for lost time with his spouse of 47 years, who could only watch has he stood on the sidelines for 27 years, coaching Man U. The job didn’t leave much time for a social life.
Now he’ll be rubbing shoulders with Hollywood stars, many of whom are die-hard Man U fans.
Ferguson himself is a big fan of “The Godfather”. The British tabloids latched onto that fact and twisted it to give Fergie a nickname, “The Hairdryer”, which comes from his “hair-dryer treatment” of his hot-breathed scolding of underperforming players in the locker room.
Perhaps Fergie could make a Hollywood filmmaker a deal that can’t be refused, to make a documentary or biopic. He already has a best-selling autobiography. Why not a film of “The Hairdryer”?
