Prachin Buri's Dasada Gallery puts on its annual flower festival

A two-hour drive from Bangkok in the eastern province of Prachin Buri, Dasada Gallery has been delighting visitors for almost a decade with showcases of magnificent blossoms.
The resort recently launched the ninth edition of its flower festival and there’s plenty of colourful eye candy. This year’s event, “Nature Lyrics” takes it inspiration from various musical genres.
“The festival highlights a wide array of artworks created by flowers, as well as rare blossoms such as the purple and chocolate-brown Anthuriums, as well as bi-colour Gerberas. All these unique floral species are imported from Netherland, where the technology in creating new colours is much more innovative,” says the gallery’s managing director Napat Boontanon.
Visitors can relish such ravishing winter blooms such as the Gerbera, Lobelia, Chrysanthemum, Phalaenopsis, African Violet and eight shades of Poinsettia. The selected blooms are crafted into beautiful artworks by well-known florist Pitak Hangsajara and his team. More than 100,000 kinds of cut flowers and decorative plants in various shades have been used in setting up the floral paradise and are just begging to be photographed.
Visitors can also enjoy the gallery’s new zone, the Secret Hall, and be dazzled by the fairytale wonderland created by Kai Boutique.
As the event runs until March 2, visitors will see a constant change of sub-themes. This month is New Year’s enchantment and towards February, pink will be the dominant hue.
