Focus calls in the Bomb disposal unit

Focus calls in the Bomb disposal unit

To absolutely no one's surprise, Focus Jirakul's relationship with fellow actor Tanin "Bomb" Manoonsilp is officially over. It was carpet-bombed with the latest cyber-weapons, in fact, including 91,000 shares of Focus' video rant on Facebook.

Focus has since “gone mainstream” with her plight, telling the press that Bomb had immediately sent a message of apology to her mother, but it went unanswered and neither mum nor daughter intend to ever have contact with him again. “It’s so over,” Focus said, meaning extremely over. “Once bitten, twice shy.”
The main reason she broke up with him was because he has so many “gigs”, and she didn’t mean salary-generating jobs. But of course he also lied when he told one of those gigs that Focus’ mum had begged him to stick with Focus. “He was a lovely boyfriend, but now it’s ended and I’ve said it all in the video. There’s nothing to talk to him about.”
Meanwhile Bomb treated the herd of reporters following him to a lengthy silence. All they got was, “I must apologise that I can’t answer questions about the past and I don’t want to talk about anyone.” One reporter was hard of hearing. “Can you briefly tell us about your relationship with Focus?” he asked. “I don’t want to answer that question,” Bomb said, a littler louder.
Still another reporter, who hadn’t been listening at all, asked whether it’s true Bomb is dating two women at the same time. Bomb insisted he’s seeing no one at the moment, quaintly adding, “I can confirm it’s untrue.”

It’s that Vuitton girl
Several popular newsstands downtown brandished signs in recent days that advance orders were not being accepted for the issue of Lips magazine coming out today. Too many people had already booked their copies of the magazine with anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban on the cover. It’s almost like Suthep has become some sort of brand name that’s guaranteed to spur sales.
If the magazine with the so-called “Kamnan Suthep cover” is sold out when you go to buy a copy, there might still be a March issue of Lips with an alternative cover, featuring Anchalee “Pong” Paireerat, another of the People’s Democratic Reform Council chieftains. She’s wearing a Louis Vuitton dress – for perhaps the only time in her life.
As Pong explains in the interview inside, she was a newspaper reporter before she ever appeared on the TV news, preferring a job where she didn’t have to dress up all the time. But she ended up at Krungthep Turakij, our sister paper, reading the stock-market news on Channel 7. And since then she’s never been off the TV screen for long and is now a regular on the BlueSky channel.
Pong maintains a great sense of humour about the results of her own “survey” showing that demand for her version of Lips was lukewarm. She’s certainly not complaining: Imagine being able to include on your CV that you were once a Vuitton model on a magazine cover!
