Funky jewellery shop 77th offers some weird and wonderful designs straight out of the '60s
FORGET DRIPPING diamonds and silver hoops. At 77th in Siam Center, you find earrings, necklaces and rings that are far more cheeky than chic.
Designed around the concept of “Love Calling”, the new collection of 60s-style accessories are supposed to conjure up visions of a mini-skirted miss and her boyfriend picnicking among the flowers.
Playful and colourful, the jewellery comes in vivid shades with an emphasis on metallic and is made from resin, brass, silver and 14k gold enamelled metal.
Earrings, for example, take the shape of everything from a barbershop light through a apple martini cocktail, Coca-Cola, a donut, a rocket, a hamburger and even French fries.
The Shining Orion line boasts a ring and necklace in the a shape of a star, the Disc earrings and necklace sets the mood for a night out at the disco while the Summer Picnic theme offers eye-catching necklaces, rings and earrings, inspired by sunflowers and lady bugs.
