It is edifying to learn that Mark Zuckerberg once remarked that “folks over 30 just aren’t as smart as younger folk”. He’s also supposed to have “deemed those over 30 as old slugs”.
When I was a lad back in 1968, there was a common belief among young people that you couldn’t trust anybody over 30. Now we know why. It’s because we’re too stupid.
Since Mark has turned 30, I assume he’s ready to be shovelled off onto the slag heap of obsolescence along with most of the people who run the world. Goodbye to Obama, Merkel, Cameron and especially old fogies like Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama. Bring on Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. We want smart and attractive young people to be in charge of things.
