Reserves up slightly to $168bn

Thailand's international reserves slightly rose from the previous week to US$168 billion as of June 27.

As of June 20, the reserves stood at $167.8 billion, according to Bank of Thailand's data.
Net forward position also increased from $23.3 billion to $23.7 billion.
Local business community has been optimistic on the economic outlook after the military coup on May 22. 
Foreign stock investors recently reversed their views. First selling Thai shares at the start of the coup, they have bought in Thai shares. In the first three days of this month, their net purchases of Thai shares stood at Bt1 billion.
