TJ, phone home - your family is feeling abandoned

TJ, phone home - your family is feeling abandoned

Kickboxing actor Thatchakorn "Tony Jaa" Panom might keep his fans informed with regular updates on Facebook, but he hasn't kept in touch with his family at all.

He hasn’t contacted anyone in the family since flying off to Los Angeles to appear in “Fast and Furious 7”, says his tearful sister.
Charinthip “Waew” Yeerum got weepy during an interview with Yingsak Jonglertjesdawong on the Channel 2 show “Khon Dung Nang Clear”.
“Where is brother Jaa?” she wanted to know, and then addressed him directly in case he was watching. “I want you to keep in touch with Mum and Dad. If you don’t have time that’s okay, but at least call them. They’re getting old. I don’t know what I have done so wrong!”
Waew said their father is quite ill at the moment, which she blamed in part on her brother. Jaa left Thailand without saying goodbye to his family because they and his wife were at each other’s throats. “He’s depressed and cries when he’s alone,” Waew said of the dad. “He says he misses Jaa, and he blames himself that Jaa didn’t come around to see them because he [Dad] isn’t good enough.”
Come to think of it, Waew isn’t even convinced that Jaa is working overseas. His family had his phone number in LA but hasn’t been able to get through. “I sent one message and his wife replied, and that was it,” says Sis.
She dearly hoped he’d fly back for the funeral of his mentor, Panna Rittikrai. “I went and I would have loved to see him there. He stayed with Panna since he was 15 and Panna was more than a mentor – he was like a brother to Jaa.” Asked about the “So long, old friend” message that was posted on Jaa’s Facebook page, Waew doesn’t think he wrote it.
Elsewhere it’s business as usual on that page, which just marked its “11-month anniversary” (you can do that on Facebook). “I want to thank everyone for taking the time to follow me,” Jaa wrote – or an associate pretending to be him. “I really appreciate it and I really enjoy staying in touch. I’ve been having a wonderful time on the page. Best wishes, TJ.
“PS: I noticed some of you asked if I was leaving. I am not going anywhere – the fun is just starting.”
We assume he means leaving LA. Apparently his family shouldn’t be expecting him back anytime soon.

Petch List shortened
Model-actress Pitchanart “May” Sakakorn wants the media (that would be us) to get something straight: She was never a girlfriend of Savika “Pinky” Chaiyadet’s fiance.
Pinky’s announcement last week of her planned marriage this autumn to Pattaya businessman Itthi “Petch” Chavalittamrong prompted several publications to list all the other celebrities he’s dated, and they included May.
“Please don’t give me any more boyfriends because I’ve had more than enough,” she says, having recently added policeman Thitisan “Jo” Euttanapol to her roster of formers. It was no fun seeing her name on the Petch List, she says. “Okay, I may have had many boyfriends, but you guys know who they are because I never conceal anything.”
She pointed out that she once worked as a “presenter” for one of Petch’s condo projects – “just an employee and nothing more, and that contract is already expired, so don’t get me involved with his love list.”
No hard feelings to the bridge- and groom-to-be, though. May wishes Petch a long and happy marriage.
