Surang wins first gold for Thailand in Para Games

Surang Khamsuk launched the winning throw in the women's javelin F46 category yesterday to open Thailand's gold-medal account at the Asian Para Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Thailand are among 41 nations taking part in the Games, which were declared open on Saturday with a total of 4,500 athletes taking part.
The Kingdom has also reaped three silvers so far, from Papiraporn Gagun in the women’s 200m T47, Sakphet Saewang in the men’s 400m T37 and Aphiwat Anghiran in the men’s 50m freestyle S11.
