Hotel search engine LagiSatu.com launches travel app
A new app from hotel search engine LagiSatu.com is now available for free download at the iTunes and Google Play store. The LagiSatu app, an accommodation finder that targets business and leisure travellers, promises to put "the convenience of the world
LagiSatu claims to have a unique Muslim Stars rating system and a database of thousands of hotel deals in more than 83,000 destinations.
A fast-growing travel site, LagiSatu.com compares more than 650,000 properties across 83,000 destinations worldwide for users.
The app integrates a proprietary Muslim Stars hotel-rating system, and claims it is the world’s first mobile app to incorporate a Muslim friendly hotel feature. Compatible with iPhones, iPads, and optimised for iPhone 5, the app is available in several languages including English, Arabic, Indonesian and Malay. LagiSatu has partnered with global online travel sites like Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia and Airasiago to offer a seamless hotel booking service.
The app has been developed by Malaysian and Austrian travel experts. Faeez Fadhlillah from the app team said, “LagiSatu is the very first travel search engine to come out of Malaysia, so it’s fitting that we’re also setting the standard in the fast-paced travel-app market.

The app analyses hotel providers and creates a shortlist of suggested choices based on the user’s desired destination, dates and amenity preferences. Users can even decide how they want their results to appear for optimum convenience.
The app claims it is ideal for those attempting to source the latest affordable deals, while travellers can easily locate suitable options thanks to handy details such as local transport links and user ratings.
Travellers can also familiarise themselves with their destination before they arrive, calculate their savings, see the distance between their hotel and a variety of other attractions and points of interest.
