Festive wishes from Panpuri

Festive wishes from Panpuri

The brand that purifies the senses offers customized gift wrapping for Christmas and the New Year

LUXURY THAI SKINCARE brand Panpuri has long been known for its imaginative festive gifts and this year is certainly no exception thanks to the introduction of special gift boxes on the theme “Flower Rhapsody” that are so gorgeous it’s tempting to keep them for oneself.
This year too, the brand added to the festive fun by organising a “Gift Wrapping and Card Making Workshop” led by lifestyle guru Ploy Chariyaves and The Archivist team.
Many of the festive goodies come in a tube-shaped box available in two colours – ivory and turquoise – and customers are invited to create their own styles of wrapping though they can still opt for the range of eye-catching gift sets
The workshop showed participants how to wrap gifts with a personal touch and screen their very own greeting cards. A lac sealing service completes the process.
Ploy presented three wrapping styles – Christmas ornament, cracker and traveller – and while these sound complex, she says there’s no need to be ultra neat.
“It’s more about transmitting a sense of love and friendship than creating artwork. You can decorate the gift with any Christmas ornament such as pine leaves along with colourful pens, golden ribbon, cute postcards and string,” she says.
The first style is inspired by a Christmas tree decoration. You simply place the present in the corner of wrapping paper, then roll it diagonally, folding the other two sides together and fastening them with string before decorating the parcel with tree ornaments. Use gold ribbon for a more luxurious look.
The Christmas cracker style is just like the cracker itself, a long tube shape. Roll presents in paper and tighten with ribbon at both ends, scrunching the paper so it looks like a toffee. Decorate with a cute card.
For the third style, which she says is ideal for the eager traveller, wrap items such as a shower and shampoo set in plain paper and decorate with stamps, postcards of a tourist destination, even a nametag,
“The best part of this special gift could be a hotel voucher or perhaps a ticket to a dream destination. I’m sure the receiver will be really happy,” says Ploy.
Voravit Siripak, managing director of Puri and the founder of Panpuri, says customised gift-wrapping adds to the sense of giving and receiver.
“The festive season as the ideal time to send warm wishes. Whether you customise your gift through the wrapping or with a handmade card, the receiver will bask in the knowledge that you care,” he says.
“Customisation is an especially nice touch in this digital age since everyone is always in such a hurry. Taking time to enjoy art and creativity can add pleasure to your life.”
