Yingluck could test her overseas support

To flee or not to flee – that is now the question for Yingluck Shinawatra.

In addition to points made in Tulsathit Taptim’s analysis, emotion will likely be a factor in deciding the answer. Does she think she’s been unfairly treated and that Thailand would benefit from her refusal to take part in this charade of shame? 

Offering political asylum is not dependent on what the law says, but on how the host country wishes to help. She has one country that has already said the impeachment and criminal charge were politically motivated. Now, this is the chance to test their words.
