However, if the family members are receiving payment from the public coffers, it would be a grievous violation of ethics and the anti-graft law, despite the PM dismissing the matter as unimportant. Reports are circulating that certain NLA members have employed relatives who are not even in the country. One wonders if deceased family members also feature on the payroll.
