“On Tuesday morning, I felt very cold and was trembling with fever. I got the feeling I would faint. So, I decided to go to the hospital,” said the 55-year-old.
The doctor in charge of Khaosai’s case said his patient needed to recuperate for 10 days after a the successfull operation to remove a 0.7 millimetre-diameter gallstone from the bile duct.
“We found two stones, one in the gall bladder and the other in bile duct. The latter was causing inflammation. Consequently, we needed to operate urgently. Now, we will leave him to recuperate on antibiotics for the next seven to 10 days. Then we will proceed to the next step, which is to remove the other gallstone. For the time being, the remaining stone is not harmful,” said doctor Todsaphon Jaroenwut.
