	A ministry spokesperson said: &ldquo;There is no need to pay any fee. All basic education schools are to follow the directives from the Education Ministry. The ministry will scrutinise the collection of money under the names of others and the sale of books, notes and exercise books.&rdquo;&nbsp;</div>

	The government launched the free education system at primary level in 2013-14 and for the middle level in 2014-15.&nbsp;</div>

	There have been 43,181 basic education schools and 8,634,377 pupils in the basic education sector this academic year.</div>

Parents of school students who are entering high schools are informed that from this academic year, high schools across the country will not collect any entrance fee, according to the Education Ministry.
