CentralPlaza Westgate to open on Aug 28
Central Pattana will open its newest shopping property, CentralPlaza Westgate, on August 28, designed to turn Bang Yai intersection into a new business district of Bangkok.
Furniture chain IKEA will also open its second outlet here, set to turn the Bt14 billion shopping centre into a super regional mall in the region.
"CentralPlaza WestGate is a game-changer for the retail industry with its vastness, it is an epic project and has a total investment of over Bt14 billion on the full phase of 500,000-square metre space, located on 100 rai of land. We believe that this project will turn the Bang Yai intersection into a new Central Business
District," said Wallaya Chirathivat, senior executive vice president of Business Development & Project Construction of CPN.
The centre will house over 500 stores.
