US embassy protest a case of double standards
If it's against the law for more than four people to gather for political purposes, then why were dozens of Thais allowed to demonstrate in front of the American Embassy after its ambassador said people shouldn't have to go to jail for lese majeste? (Even
Earlier this year 14 students were sent to jail for engaging in a mild protest against the coup. Maybe the junta should clarify, along the lines of, “It’s against the law for more than four people to gather for political purposes unless they agree with us.”
