	The President&rsquo;s Office announced on November 30 that President Thein Sein will meet Suu Kyi on Wednesday morning at the presidential palace in the capital.</div>

	Additionally, the Military Authoritative Information Team announced on the same day that the commander-in-chief will meet Suu Kyi at 2pm on that day at his office.</div>
<div>
	Suu Kyi requested meetings with President Thein Sein, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Min Aung Hlaing and Union parliament speaker Thura Shwe Mann in separate letters addressed to each of them.</div>

	Thura Shwe Mann met Suu Kyi on November 15, 17 and 19. After their last meeting, they released a joint statement. Suu Kyi also met with Thura Shwe Mann on the morning of November 30 at his parliamentary office in Nay Pyi Taw.</div>

	Suu Kyi first met with President Thein Sein on Aug 19, 2011, at the presidential palace in the capital.</div>
<div>
	She also had meetings with the president on four other occasions in 2012, 2013 and 2014.</div>
<div>
	Suu Kyi&rsquo;s private meeting with the commander-in-chief will be their first.</div>

Aung San Suu Kyi, the chairperson of the National League for Democracy, which dominated the 2015 general election, will meet President Thein Sein and Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing separately on December 2 in Nay Pyi Taw.
