LITTLE PRINCE LIGHTING FESTIVAL
Now until February 29, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
Petite France, a French concept cultural village located in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, is hosting a special night event, ‘Le Petit Prince Star Light Festival’. Following the theme of the original book, “The Little Prince”, the village is toned with pastel colours, illuminated with thousands of lights and decorated with cute little ornaments, recreating the prince’s living planet. The Little Prince along with Christmas and sculptures create a fairyland for both children and adults.

This practice is very close to Halloween in the West, with young people donning demon costumes, terrifying masks and straw raincoats before knocking on the doors in the neighbourhood for sake rice wine and mocha rice cake. Oga is part of Akita Prefecture on Honshu Island.
