Bic C Vietnam plans 2nd hypermarket
HCM CITY - French-owned supermarket chain Big C plans to open its second hypermarket and shopping mall in Da Nang next year to meet increasing demand.
The new store will have a total area of 20,000sqm. The hypermarket will sell more than 50,000 items, ranging from fresh, dry and processed food, to cosmetics, fashion products, household utensils and electrical appliances, 95 per cent of which are locally made products.
The shopping mall will be home to shops and boutiques of famous domestic and international brands in the fields of fashion, jewellery, cosmetics, healthcare and beauty care, food court, gym and yoga, cinemas, and entertainment centres, among others
Big C is working with Da Nang's government to realise its plan.
There are now 32 Big C outlets across Vietnam, with eight in Ho Chi Minh City. Among them, only one is in the hypermarket format.
