Tri Petch Isuzu to expand business in Laos, Cambodia

 “Global economic growth in 2015 was only 2.4 per cent, while Laos and Cambodia achieved up to 6 per cent and 7 per cent, respectively. According to the World Bank’s forecast, the economies of both countries will continue their robust expansion with the same annual growth of about 7 per cent in the next three years,” Tri Petch Isuzu Sales president Hiroshi Nakagawa said yesterday.

 The establishment of the Asean Economic Community will also play a key role in pulling the Lao and Cambodian economies further ahead, he said.

 Because the customer behaviour and lifestyles of people in both countries are close to those of Thais, Tri Petch is confident that it will also succeed in the Lao and Cambodian markets, he added.

 The company has had success in doing business in Thailand and has become the role model of Isuzu’s worldwide marketing strategies, which leads Isuzu distributors and dealers across the globe to travel to Thailand to witness the Isuzu business operations.

 The launch of the offices in the neighbouring countries is a major milestone for the company, which next year will celebrate 60 years of operations in Thailand, Nakagawa said.

 After building up the Isuzu community in Thailand, Tri Petch aims to create and strengthen Isuzu’s brand equity and the Isuzu community in Laos and Cambodia with help from local dealers, he added.
