‘Ultra Courses’ target top executives

THE Economics Association of Chulalongkorn University and Ultra Wealth Management Co will be holding three “Ultra Courses” for Thailand’s top executives, beginning this week. Courses titled “Ultra Investment”, “Ultra Deal” and “Ultra Network” are aimed

The first course starts this Wednesday and runs until June at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel. 
“In the 99th anniversary year of Chulalongkorn University, the Economics Association of Chulalongkorn and Chulalongkorn alumni agreed to celebrate the anniversary of their beloved university,” said association chairman Piyaman Techapaiboon. “Also, the Faculty of Economics alumni have become famous and are full of experience. This was the beginning of the idea of organising this course. 
“This course is a cooperation between Ultra Wealth and the Economics Association of Chulalongkorn University under a special concept, as it puts together successful masters in different fields who will share their direct experiences with the participants, who are all CEOs. 
“We believe that as both the instructors and the participants are highly experienced, new learning will definitely result from this course.”
Dr Chaipat Lertraktaweekul, chief executive of Ultra Wealth Management Co and the founder of the course, added: “Ultra Wealth is the first course in Thailand that puts together masters with high experience in different fields. 
“We are not only focusing on stocks but rather looking at investment as a complete package.” 
He said the Ultra Investment course related to tips on sophisticated investments from the No 1 masters in every field, focusing on stocks and property investment such as Buddha amulets, watches, luxury cars, paintings, auctions, and domestic and international property investment. 
Ultra Deal will feature matchmaking with world-class businesspeople as well as lectures from the Bank of Thailand, plus a trip to China, which is the centre of the world’s economy, featuring Alibaba, the world’s largest marketplace, and Super Brand Mall in Shanghai. 
Ultra Network will be an exchange of experiences resulting from the great networks of the participants. 
A total of 104 executives have applied to participate in the courses. 
The masters will include Thongma Vijitpongpun, CEO and president of Pruksa Real Estate; Dr Kongkiat Opaswongkarn, chairman of Asia Plus Advisory Co and CEO and executive director of Asia Plus Group Holdings; Wichai Thongtang, CEO of Link Network (Thailand) Co; Prin Panichapak, managing director of CLSA Co; and Yaowanee Nirandorn, country representative of Christie’s Thailand. 
“Furthermore, there is also a commitment to extend the course to private investment as well as public investment in the next phase,” Chaipat said.
