Political correctness a shield for moral cowardice

Political correctness a shield for moral cowardice

The Islamic fundamentalists cannot and do not work alone, in isolation from their families and friends.

The perpetrators of the mass murder in Paris four months ago sought refuge in the Molenbeek area of Brussels, where they were raised. They returned to their families for safety. Is it really conceivable that those with whom they are close are totally ignorant of their activities. How is it possible that, after murdering 130 people in Paris, these killers could return home and make suicide vests and bombs while planning to blow up innocent people at a major European airport and subway in their hometown without anybody knowing?
It is clear that these fanatics were aided and abetted. Aiding and abetting the crime is as serious as committing the crime. So why is a mass arrest for interrogation of all the neighbours, friends and families not taking place? Is it not a case of moral cowardice hiding behind political correctness, as has occurred many times with governments, the police and welfare authorities in matters related to Islam? An infamous case emerged last year in Rotherham, UK, where it was discovered that a group of adult Pakistani males had sexually abused hundreds of girls over several years. The police turned a blind eye for fear of being called racists. Weakness does not command respect. A tough, proactive, ruthless stance is fully justified against these fundamentalists to prevent thousands more innocent people being killed and injured.
