Publicis One reshuffles management at Thai unit

AFTER RESHAPING its business model, France-based advertising and public relations group Publicis One has announced a management reshuffle at its Thailand unit.

Songkran Sethesompobe has been appointed chief executive officer of Publicis One Thailand. Songkran currently serves as CEO of the Leo Burnett Group Thailand ad agency. The firm says he is recognised as a leader in communication with more than 25 years of international and local experience in Thailand.
Louis-Sebastien Ohl, who has been given the new role of international business head for Thailand and Myanmar, will lead the collaboration with Publicis Groupe’s international clients and foster the development of solutions for clients. Ohl is currently CEO of Publicis/Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand.
Atipol Ithivatana joins the Publicis One local board as head of media, with a focus on leveraging the combined scale of Publicis One’s media assets to drive value for clients. Atipol is also CEO of Starcom/Mediavest and ZenithOptimedia Thailand. Patcharaporn Maneevachararangsee will be Publicis One’s chief financial officer in Thailand.
After the change, each agency brand will continue to exist with its individual, strictly enforced measures to protect client confidentiality within the Publicis One set-up, the firm says. Publicis One is a business model the Groupe will be implementing across 50 markets globally.
Brands under the Publicis One Thailand umbrella include Leo Burnett, Arc, Alpha 245, Publicis, Nurun, Saatchi & Saatchi, Razorfish, Starcom, MediaVest, ZenithOptimedia, and others. “We are looking forward to the new possibilities we can create with Publicis One in Asia,” said Nicolas Menat, regional CEO at Publicis One.
“Over the years, we have developed a strong suite of capabilities via all our agency brands that address our clients’ communications needs. The Publicis One set-up will take us a step further, allowing us to offer our clients more holistic plans that address their needs for integration and specialisation today.”
