Sonchat-Sanchai Win Challenger Title No 40
Sonchat and Sanchai Ratiwatana snatched their 40th ATP Challenger together after Taiwanese hopes Cheng-Pen Hsieh and Chu-Huan Yi 6-4 7-6 (7-4) in the final round of the US$125,000 OEC Kaohsiung Challenger on Sunday.
The twins, seeded third, employed their more superior doubles skills to oust the fourth seeded pair in one hour and 22 minutes. They won the winners’ prize money of US$7,750.
This is their second ATP Challenger victory this year after their victory in Gwangju , South Korea in April.
The siblings have won a total of 53 doubles titles, 2 on the ATP Tour, 40 on the Challenger Tour and 11 on the ITF Futures.
Both will come back home for two weeks before entering the next Challenger in Vietnam.
