A luxury condominium complex celebrates Thailand's gentlemen

TOWERING 73 floors over the Chao Phraya River, the Four Seasons Private Residence is one of the most sought-after condo complexes in the city. The 355-unit luxury residence recently organised the second in its gala dinners for Thailand’s male elite, inviting top businessmen and celebrities from various fields to chat and share their experiences of what it means to be a real gentleman.
A black-and-white decor added sophistication to the dinner event whose guests included Arsa Sarasin, Anuthin Chanweerakul and Chartchai Payuhanaveechai.
Ben Techaubol, chief executive of Country Group Development, which manages the residence, later presented an overview of the dinner and explained his goals in inviting Thailand's top businessmen and celebrities.
“This event is inspired by the ‘Gentlemen's Corner’ of the Four Seasons Club, which accommodates a glass-walled wine cellar, golf simulator, billiard table, cigar room, and private movie theatre, and is scheduled for completion at the end of 2018. So this dinner offers our VIP guests to enjoy a foretaste of the club while chatting casually about business and life in general,” he said.
Giorgio Ascheri, master-tailor from Prada, was flown in from Italy, to measure and cut suits for the VIP guests.
“Prada suit production is delicately controlled in much the same way as fine art, from the selection of the material to the other details such as buttons, bow tie, and neck tie,” Ascheri explained.
Nariporn Kiangsiri, marketing communications director for Pendulum, brought along world-class watches for men including the top-of-the-range Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar Terraluna timepiece. Priced at Bt7.47 million, it boasts a 100-year calendar function.
“Watches do not only tell time but also enhance the personality so we should take good care of our watches to extend the usage period through cleaning,” he said.
Danai Sorakraikittikul, managing director of A-List, showcased the luxury Leica cameras designed for guys who prefer to capture key moments from their days with professional photography. The star of the show was the Leica SL Typ601 with auto focus that is great for capturing natural colours. Professional photographers were also on hand to take pictures of the guests with a cool Aston Martin in Leica style.
And indeed it was the Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe – priced at a mere Bt27.9 million – that stole the show. Brought along by Aston Martin Thailand’s Napak Soragna, the supercar with its carbon-fibre body and sleek, sexy lines has to be the ultimate accessory for any true gentleman!
