Double-entry visa has gone the way of the dodo bird
Re: “Thai expats, don’t give up retirement dreams just yet”, Dec 13, by Barry Kenyon.
The above writer implied that the government’s plan to bring in a new 10-year visa to replace the one-year retirement visa should not be considered as written in stone.
As a comparison, he pointed out that the Thai government previously stated that the six-month tourist visa would replace the single and double-entry ones; yet in fact, both of the latter two still exist, he maintained.
That is not entirely correct. While the single-entry visa still remains alongside the 6-month one, the double-entry visa has now gone way of the dodo bird.
