Stephff ignores role of West in Syria’s tragedy 

Stephff continues with his ugly, venomous, distorted and contorted upside-down view of the Middle East tragedy and the terrible suffering of a totally innocent population. How can he show so much disdain and heartlessness when the facts tell otherwise?
A sovereign country (Syria) invited Russia to help it crush the so-called “terrorists” (ISIS), the inadvertent brainchild of Zbigniew Brzezinski – when he persuaded president Jimmy Carter to back the jihadist mujahideen in Afghanistan. ISIS is now generously supported by the US, France and the UK, as well as Qatar and Saudi Arabia. 
Syria is still a sovereign country, with Bashar al-Assad at its head, re-elected to the presidency in a 2014 election that was internationally supervised, drew a turnout of 74 per cent and gave him a majority vote of 88.7 per cent.
Iran has not committed any aggression against any of its neighbours in over 200 years.
The war of attrition between Iraq (the aggressor) and Iran from 1980 to 1988, at the behest of the belligerent US administration, is a showpiece of the designs and immorality of the “big-power bloc”.
Stephff would do well to study the other side of history’s coin before lashing out and insulting anybody. Presenting the world as helpless is ridiculous, since it is mercilessly subjected to the diktat and whim of the “big-power bloc” – no objections allowed!
