Which one was 'Our Song'?

Which one was 'Our Song'?

Chang is looking for the best tunes from the soundtracks of people's friendships

THE BREWERS of Chang beer are celebrating the way music enriches our most memorable friendship moments with its “Our Song” campaign, just launched at Siam Discovery’s Billboard Cafe.
“The campaign is based on the fact that, no matter how much time passes, the good memories at the foundation of every friendship are stirred every time you hear a song you once shared,” said Chang International chief executive Edmond Neo Kim Soon.
Aimed primarily at 25- to 35-year-olds who do a lot of lively socialising, the campaign has at its heart the music video “Our Song”, which tells the story of four old friends who’ve shared good times and difficulties.
We see them graduating, falling in and out of love, going on trips and dealing with jobs and the lack of them. Throughout it all, the four stick together.
Emcees Uttsada “Utt” Panichkul and Pitta na Patalung played host onstage to “famous friends” from the world of show business.
Vuthithorn “Woody” Milintachinda, Paloy Horwang, Pitt Karchai, Pramote “Oat” Pathan and DJs Beau Thanakorn, Dada, Oung Khemarat, Tonhorm, Chow Chow, James, Art, Max, Opal and Fangkao all took turns describing the rewards of friendship they’ve enjoyed.

“My most memorable friendship moments are having a great time with my gang of friends on ‘Paloy’s Diary’,” said Paloy. “Every time I hear B5’s ‘Tor Hai Khrai Mai Rak’ I feel that my friends Oat and Pitt are still at my side.”
EFM DJ Bo Thanakorn said he had that same feeling just recently.
“I had all my friends and fellow DJs with me on my wedding day and we were so happy. So now, whenever we hear the Chemical Brothers’ ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, we start singing along and dancing together.”
“In addition to stories of friendship told through songs,” Soon added, “Chang has decoded consumer behaviour in the digital era to offer a new experience through music streaming. “In partnership with JOOX we are launching an engagement activity in which consumers can ‘Listen, Vote and Share’ music tracks that represent their favourite moments with friends.”
The idea is to vote for five tracks from five different playlists that best revive your great memories and share them on Facebook. You can win free access to VIP JOOX for seven days. Voting continues through February 28, when the five tunes with the most votes will be compiled as the “Chang Playlist”.
