Sansiri and the shopping mall

Sansiri and the shopping mall

The new, improved and renamed “Sansiri Market Fest” was back in business recently, this time taking place at Habito Retail Mall Sukhumvit Soi 77 (Onnut 1/1), which marks Sansiri’s first foray into the shopping complex business.

The highlight of the fair was the showcase of one of the most exciting artistic works seen on an Asian stage to date: “Habiko”, a kinetic sculpture created by Thailand’s top artist Wich Pimkarnchanapong. “Habiko” is an application of an intelligent robotic arm commonly known by its trademark name of “Kuka” that possesses a high accuracy rate..
Fair-goers discovered restaurants, shops and stalls and were entertained by various parades, shows and concerts from noted artistes on both days of the fair.
The new mall is ideally located in the centre of a huge residential community on Bangkok’s East side. It’s home to more than 180 shops and hip food shops arranged in seven distinct zones.
Boutiques including Him & Her by Ploy Horwang, Rams and street fashion shop SVSS line the Shop Zone, which also boasts a sweet/savoury food truck offering premium home-made ice cream by Guss Damn Good.
Not one to rest on its laurels, Sansiri is preparing to bring this fun-filled event to the world by the end of the year when the “Sansiri Market Fest” will make its international debut in Hong Kong.
