ModernDog, the pioneer of Thai alternative rock, is celebrating its 22nd anniversary in the music business with a concert, aptly titled “ModernDog 22”, at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani on March 18.

The iconic 90’s band has long been a favourite with Thai students and their live shows and unique musical style never fail to impress. Throughout their 22 years in the music industry, ModernDog has never stopped producing quality music that stands out from the crowd. The first of their six albums – ModernDog, also known as “Serm Sukkapap” featured such mega hits as “Korn”, “Bussaba”, “Bang Sing” and “Mod Wayla”. Their second album, “Cafe”, was also a runaway success with hit singles “Roob Mai Lor” and “Tim”. “Love Me Love My Life”, featured popular songs “Sing Tee Mai Kuey Bok” and “Way Tal” while their fourth album, “Dad Song”, included the hit “Ta Sawang”. “Ting Nong Noi” from their fifth album also peaked high in the charts. Their most recent album features the singles “Oh Noi Ok”, “Scala”, “Tob Tuan”, “Cloud”, “Cheer” and “Wan Nee Mue Pee Gon”.
    Production for the ModernDog 22 concert will be overseen by the English lighting designer, Tellson James, who has produced shows for Whitney Houston, George Michael, Phil Collins and Vanessa Mae.
