The Thai edition of men’s magazine, “Maxim”, is celebrating its 13th anniversary by introducing a new concept for the Miss Maxim contest.
Dubbed “The Sexy Icon”, it demands that this year’s Miss Maxim be perfect in every way to make it to the world stage of the beauty contest in addition to being an ambassador for “Maxim Thailand”.
“Being Miss Maxim isn’t just only about looking sexy but also being smart. Most importantly, she must have lots of self-confidence to be outstanding enough to be an icon,” says Wiroj Wachiradechkul, chief executive of Tree Dance Publishing
“This year, Miss Maxim will receive Bt100,000 and will also be the new ambassador of ‘Maxim Thailand’. Fans interested in getting up close with the contestants can download an app that allows for live chats with these sexy girls.”
The atmosphere of Miss Maxim 2016: The Sexy Icon will be full of fun with celebrities representing different types of icons. Chonrada “Kay” Makratree is a sexy icon with good attitude. Matthew Deane Chanthavanij is an icon with lots of talent and will be the MC of the Miss Maxim contest this year while Chiranat “Namcha” Yusanon and Thanachote “Ake” Kusomrosananan are the music icons.
The final round of “Miss Maxim 016: The Sexy Icon” takes place this evening (March 7) at GMM Live House on the eighth floor of CentralWorld. The fun starts at 6.30.
